The Full Story
Jezmic Siena
Siena is a full ANKC Pedigree bitch who was raised by Jessica Phillips of Jezmic Border Collies. Jessica came highly recommended as a breeder and having got to know us was happy to give us breeding rights to Siena so that we could breed her with Fly one day. Jess has become our mentor and been with us from the moment Siena got pregnant ensuring mum was ok and the puppies were all going to be healthy and thrive!
Siena The Email
Siena came into our lives as a bit of a godsend, we had been through an awful experience with securing a puppy that was aussie gold in colour only to realise that the breeder was a puppy farmer, she advertised a litter from a dog we had seen that definitely wasn't pregnant when we saw it... We were having to make a decision whether we still proceeded despite our concerns when Jess popped an email into our inbox with this lovely lady "red female". We had enquired with Jess 6 months before we got to Perth so the stars aligned that Jess followed up that day!
Siena the Puppy Years
Siena was an absolute typical puppy from the day she came home, mischievous, full of energy, stunning, loving and like a piranha on our heels! Fly thankfully taught her bite pressure VERY quickly!
From day one, Siena always had a cheeky smile on her face, and still does when she is not pouting for a model shot!
Fly & Siena
Fly taught Siena the ropes, that said they are like ying and yang! Siena is a sassy go getter Australian who quickly realises she might have been a bit too bold, whilst Fly is the calm sensible polite Brit who she taught to loosen up a bit and throw himself into a pond or two!
Growing up!
Siena has brought much laughter and love to our family. She is the cuddliest girl, always giving love and following you around the house. She has been more worried about the world than Fly as she sadly grew up in Covid lockdown but has taken it in her stride learning from us that all is ok and is now very happy around things that used to worry her! Very intelligent, don't tell him but possibly more so than Fly, you can't trick her! And she LOVES her food.
Oh and she plays Cricket or Flicket (soft ball) as we like to call it, Siena is the best fielder!! Whilst Fly still tries to get us to play frisbee with him.

Siena as Mum
Siena as a mum has been a joy to watch! When breeding with fly she was flirty and a bit of a tart! When pregnant she was calm, loving and sweet.
As a mum, she has looked to us to see if she is doing it right and then found her groove and taken on her responsibilities with ease, calmness and a smile. It has been beautiful to witness!
